Q: Are pets allowed in the Commons?

A: We are sure your pet is always on its best behavior, but for the safety of park visitors, please leave your animal at home. Service animals are welcome.

Q: Where should I park?

A: Visiting Downtown Commons is easier than ever with convenient and affordable parking options in downtown Clarksville!

Weekday Parking (Mon–Fri, before 5 PM): City of Clarksville’s streetside meters and public garages require payment during the day. Parking remains affordable and easy, with the ParkMobile app available for quick payment.

Free Parking on Weeknights & Weekends: Enjoy free parking after 5 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends. Mondays are now free all day at these meters too, thanks to the City of Clarksville.

Parking Garages: Two City of Clarksville public parking garages are just a short walk from Downtown Commons, providing convenient access to downtown attractions.

Private Lot: The lot directly behind Downtown Commons is privately owned and charges for parking seven days a week.

Q: Is there Wi-Fi in the Commons?

A: Yes, choose DowntownCommonsWifi. No password is required and the service is free.

Q: If I leave something in the Commons, is there a lost and found?

A: Yes, if an item is left in the Commons, it is kept for 48 hours. After 48 hours, the items are either thrown away or donated to local charities. Contact us at info@downtowncommons.com or 931-648-5732 to inquire about your lost item.

Q: Can I skateboard or ride my bicycle in the Commons?

A: For your safety and for the safety of others, Downtown Commons does not allow skateboarding or bicycling in the plaza.

Q: Can I perform on the stage or hold an event?

A: Not without the written permission of Downtown Commons staff. If you are a street performer, busker, street musician, minstrel, troubadour, etc. and wish to perform in the Commons or to perform as part of one of our signature events, please contact Montgomery County Parks and Recreation at 931-648-5732.
