Q: Are pets allowed in the Commons?
A: We are sure your pet is always on its best behavior, but for the safety of park visitors, please leave your animal at home. Service animals are welcome.
Q: Where should I park?
A: Downtown has many options to fit your parking needs. There is a metered lot on the corner of Second and Commerce Street and multiple metered spaces on the streets surrounding the Park. Parking is free for the first hour on street meters during the week and completely free on the weekends. After 4:00 PM on weekdays and anytime on the weekends you can use the parking lot behind the stage area of the Downtown Commons for your parking needs.
Q: Is there Wi-Fi in the Commons?
A: Yes, choose DowntownCommonsWifi. No password is required and the service is free.
Q: If I leave something in the Commons, is there a lost and found?
A: Yes, if an item is left in the Commons, it is kept for 48 hours. After 48 hours, the items are either thrown away or donated to local charities. Contact us at info@downtowncommons.com or 931-648-5732 to inquire about your lost item.
Q: Can I skateboard or ride my bicycle in the Commons?
A: For your safety and for the safety of others, Downtown Commons does not allow skateboarding or bicycling in the plaza.
Q: Can I perform on the stage or hold an event?
A: Not without the written permission of Downtown Commons staff. If you are a street performer, busker, street musician, minstrel, troubadour, etc. and wish to perform in the Commons or to perform as part of one of our signature events, please contact Montgomery County Parks and Recreation at 931-648-5732.
